ARA Medical Office Opens at The Reserve at Hill Park in Jonesboro

Haag Brown Commercial is excited to announce that the company’s first project, a 5,030 square foot, state-of-the-art medical office, has opened in the Reserve at Hill Park, the 27-acre lifestyle oriented office development conveniently situated off of Browns Lane within the Windover Park area in the center of Jonesboro.

Arthritis & Rheumatism Associates, or ARA, owned by Doctor Beata Filip-Majewski and Doctor Leslie McCasland, opened their doors for business on Wednesday, February 1st. The team is dedicated to improving the quality of life of their patients by treating those suffering from various types of arthritis and other autoimmune or connective tissue disorders.

Dr. Filip Majewski was born and raised in Poland where she finished her medical education at the competitive Medical University of Lodz, a European research center and the largest teaching hospital unit in Poland. She then completed her internship and residency in Internal medicine at Berkshire Medical Center and obtained her fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia. She specializes in Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis.

“Our goal was to create an environment for patients to feel comfortable and safe,” stated Dr. Filip Majewski. “Our office provides all the conveniences of a state of the art facility but also is comfortable and easily accessible. We hope our patients will love it.”

Dr. McCasland is a Jonesboro, Arkansas native, graduating from Westside High School, attending Arkansas State University, and completing her medical education at the University of Tennessee. She went on to obtain her rheumatology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. “Arthritis & Rheumatism Associates, LLC is, for me, a true blessing. I can continue to serve my established patients and begin to serve new patients, all through this new medical practice designed to assist patients with joint and other connective tissue disorders. Jonesboro was a wonderful area to grow up in. Today, it has a thriving medical community and I’m proud to be part of it,” said Dr. McCasland.

The modern medical facility sits on 0.52 acres facing the development’s 3 acre lake with the rear of the building overlooking the Hill Park Development. The upscale building features a large waiting and reception area, an on-site lab and X-ray facility, 8 exams rooms, 2 consultation rooms, and several offices, workrooms, etc.

“I have enjoyed getting to work closely with Dr. Majewski and Dr. McCasland on the construction of their new medical facility. Watching their vision come to life has been rewarding for everyone involved! I am excited to have the doctors, their team, and their facility be a part of The Reserve at Hill Park! The environment is one I think their patients will enjoy. We wish both Dr. Beata Majewski and Dr. Leslie McCasland continued success with their new office!” said Zac Qualls, Haag Brown Commercial agent.

“When people think about the Reserve at Hill Park, I’ve wanted there to be thoughts of biking, walking, paddle boarding, hammocks, animals, water and just the outdoors in general,” said Haag Brown Commercial Principal Joshua Brown. “With ARA open, the adjacent project opening in the upcoming weeks and us breaking ground on our new office, I think people will associate the development with those things when they see what we have been doing back there.”

Haag Brown looks forward to announcing the completion of the project on the adjacent lot within the next 30-60 days.
